HISTORY

India Tash House has a rich history that dates back to 1951, when our esteemed founder, Shri Wazir Chand Kapoor, laid the foundation of our company. Initially operating from the bustling marketplace of Sadar Bazar in Old Delhi, Shri Kapoor dedicated two decades to mastering the craft of playing card manufacturing. By 1971, recognizing the growing demand and potential within the industry, he, along with his son Shri Sarvan Kumar Kapoor, expanded the business and relocated to Mayapuri, the industrial hub of Delhi. This move marked a significant milestone, as our company, then known as India House, quickly gained a reputation as one of the best printing presses in Delhi during the 1970s.

Our commitment to quality and innovation became the cornerstone of our success. Over the years, India Tash House evolved from a local printing press into one of India’s leading playing card manufacturers. We have always believed in delivering the highest quality products to our customers, a philosophy that has guided us for over seven decades. As a large-scale manufacturing firm, we possess the flexibility and resources needed to maintain our rigorous quality standards, even as we adapt to the challenges of the 21st century.

Beyond manufacturing, India Tash House has also embraced the power of collaboration and branding. Over the years, we have partnered with various companies to build brand value and advertise their products, leveraging our expertise to create customized playing cards that resonate with diverse audiences. Additionally, we have taken pride in developing our own brands, such as Tractor, which have become synonymous with quality and reliability in the playing card industry.

Today, as we carry forward the legacy of Shri Wazir Chand Kapoor, India Tash House remains committed to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction, continually striving to reach new heights in the world of playing card manufacturing.
